eFiling in the Wyoming Chancery Court
The Wyoming Chancery Court was the first state trial court in Wyoming to implement eFiling. The Court uses File & ServeXpress (FSX) as its electronic filing system.
-
- Mandatory eFiling: All documents must be filed electronically through FSX.
- Mandatory eService: All documents, except case-initiating filings, must be served electronically unless otherwise ordered by the Court.
- Who Can eFile: Wyoming-licensed attorneys, their staff, and self- represented individuals may eFile and eServe. Local counsel (not pro hac vice counsel) must eFile all documents.
- Governing Rules: Currently, eFiling is governed by the Wyoming State Chancery Court eFiling Administrative Polices and Procedure Manual, which is substantially similar to the eFiling rules applicable in district courts. However, effective April 5, 2025, both Chancery and District Court eFiling will be governed by the Wyoming Rules for Electronic Filing and Service.
